How It Works
When a mobile user text’s a dealer keyword to a five digit short code, CARS2GO will locate the corresponding dealers data associated with the dealer keyword and send a return text message which contains a URL link to that dealer’s mobile web site or ‘GoSite’.
Once users connect to the mobile optimized web platform via the URL link, they can search and view dealer inventory data including photos, pricing, mileage, stock number, engine, etc.
The web platform provides a variety of contact options for the dealer which can include: Click2Call, email addresses and phone numbers. CARS2GO will work with Customer’s IT staff to implement “browser sniffer software” so that users entering the Customer’s core URL from their mobile phones will be re-directed to the Customer’s “Go Site.”
